Hi,
if I understand that right, you have replaced a broken TC1796 and want to mirror the whole memory into a new chip because you have no source code or binaries available.
That is quit difficult. If the broken TC is still reachable you could try to down- and reload everything.
Due to companies usually protect their devices from external access, only those manufacturers would be able to do it.
I assume you are not the manufacturer.?

Sorry, you have the binaries on the server.... Maybe there is an identification routine necessary, before you can update it. But if you are the manufacturer, that should be not the problem.

The issue is like that the manufactured discontinued the device this is Automotive units that is extremely hard to find but the TC1796 its available. My idea is if is possible to solder new TC and write gust the boot-loader after that the ECU has a official server that by the VIN downloading the Firmware. This can be done in a dealerships. but there is a lot units with dead IC and i want to recover if is possible.

I just need the very beginning part of the IC that is the initialized (bootloader) then the server will recognized and upgrade the Chip with necessary firmware.
Thank you !

Ok understand. Could you ask the manufacturer to provide the information you need? As I mentioned, the manufacturer normally protect its devices. One of the reason is probably warranty.
