Please you can refer to the "8.3 Operations and Setting Procedure Example" section in 8FX Hardware manual on how to use WDT in 8FX(MB95F778E included) uC.

Note, PSoC4/PSoC6 which is Arm core based uC is recommended for new design, instead of 8FX uC. Softune (the FW development IDE for 8FX uC) was EOL in Cypress earlier this year.
