Dear Community,

I read the data sheet and checked the requirements for the crystal from the microcontroller. (Page 65, 8. Handling Devices.)
The load capacitance of the crystal unit for sub-clock is listed as 6pF to 7pF.
Is there a recommended load capacitance for the crystal unit for the main clock as well?

Device : S6E2C4AJ0AGB10000A

Best regards,

Kazuki

Hello Kazuki-san,

This thread might be same as previous one. I just copied and pasted:

The recommended load capacitor to sub-oscillator aims to keep current consumption low.

There is no such kind of requirement (low current) for the main clock crystal. Please refer to the main clock crystal's manual for deciding its capacitors.
