Hello.
About Multifunction timer setting for starting PWM output
According to document(32-Bit_Microcontroller_FM4_Family_Peripheral_Manual_Timer_Part: 002-04858) on page474, this setting is following.
1.Initial setting Set FRT operating mode (FRT control register other than TCSA.STOP). Set OCU operating mode and initialize the output level (OCU control register other than OCSA.CST0 and OCSA.CST1). Set the OCCP compare value (writing the OCCP value).
2.Start FRT count operation (writing 0 to TCSA:STOP).
3.Enable OCU's operation (writing 1 to OCSA:CST0 and OCSA:CST1).
(question)
At that time, is there any problem if the processes of 2 and 3 are performed in reverse?
(2.Start FRT count <-> 3.Enable OCU's)
My customer has a concern as following.
“They think when timer count is started and is matched with trigger count before enable OCU's operation, PWM won’t be output.”

Tao_2199-san,
If Multifunction timer is ready to start FRT, it would not be problem even step 2 and 3 are reversed.
regards.
