LED Driver ICs Forum Discussions
Dear,
I want to communicate with TLD7002, I set up HSLI from ECU side, but have no idea about data stream.
Sincere my data flow is established in init phase as early:
1.PM change (00)
2.PM change (00)
3. HWCR (Clear Diag flag) 4. DC_UPDATE DLC0 5.DC_UPDATE DLC0 In
, I'm sick in a periodic function as a function as repetition:
1.dc_update_8bit with duty 0%
2.DC_SYNC
data above are all in order, but the light breaks dimmed and lit up again. Are there any commands that I have to send but have ignored?
If I don't send DC_SYNC, the light keep dimmed.

Show LessHello everyone,
I'm using ICL5102 design guide to build my custom led power supply, It take input 120-277VAC input to provide 180Watt, 70-280VDC with 0.6 1.25A output.
the design guide didn't mention how to decide the Vbus value, it's important parameter, based on it, I design the transformer turns ratio.

Hello Every one,
In reference design document for ICL5102 based LLC tank resonance LED power supply, I simulated the Dimming circuit on Multisim and LTspice.
The results was bad, me and my team reviewed the circuit in simulation and we are sure there is no mistakes in copying the circuit to simulation.
First of all the 10 Volts secondary circuit doesn't provide 10 volts, it's output -1 volts. See screen shot number 1.
It's input is 10 volts at 100KHz, I simulated the output of transformer. I provided the reference circuit in screen number 2.
The second problem is the the dimming circuit provide constant voltage 1.2V whatever the dimming voltage.
In order to simulate the dimming circuit I provided it with 10 volts input instead of the output from secondary 10Volts transformer circuit mentioned earlier. I refer to screen 3 and 4.
I alse have additional question, What is the purpose of constant voltage control circuit in dimming circuit, and is it suitable for Constant current, for my application it's constant current 70 - 280 VDC output, should I add it to my schematic or not?

Show LessHello all friends on Community,
In ICL5102 Design guide for 130W output, I see that the EMI filtration on two stages.
First two coupled inductor work as common mode filter as mentioned in their data sheet.
Second, a single inductor work as differential mode filter.
I'm working on my custom design and I don't understand why the design guide put a coupled inductor as common mode filter and single inductor on DC line as differential mode filter??
Show LessHello everyone,
In ICL5102 design guide, LLC tank resonance circuit design section, when choosing the resonance capacitor, I see that when splitting the value of Cr into two capacitor, Cr1 almost equal to the calculated resonance capacitor.
should I use the calculated resonance capacitor value in Cr1 and add a small capacitor as Cr2?

Hello every one
According to the engineering guide, the output current from OTP is 100uA, and the minimum voltage should be on OTP is 780mV, my question is based on what the design guide choose 100KOhm NTC EPCOS 8507 series, when 100uA go throw this resistance, the OTP voltage should be 10 volts and this far away bigger than the maximum voltage.
My custom application operates at -40'C to 50'C.

Hello every one,
The LCC design tool provided by Infineon was great for designing the LCC topology dc-dc converter, but I can't find a reference for the design of transformer, My application takes standard AC input 220VAC, and the output should be
70-280VDC, 600-1250mA 180 Watt maximum.
Does this output voltage range supported by the LCC topology with ICL5102?
And IS there a reference to help me with resonance transformer design with this topology?, the design tool doesn't give the calculations of transformer>
Hello everyone
I need to know based on what the design guide of ICL5102 - 130 Watt based circuit determined the secondary coil turns.
For My application, the output is 180 watt, 70-280 VDC, 600-1250 mA
Is there a recommended secondary winding for this output?

Hello every one,
I'm designing led power supply, I need to know how to determine the Vbus (the voltage after PFC indcutror-diode circuit) value for 120-270 VAC input, and
180 Watt, 280 VDC max output.
