I learned that XDPL8221 can achieve 120-277V input, 0-10V dimming, and CC or CV output. These functions are what I need.
I also need it to support TRIAC dimmer, can it support TRIAC dimming?
Or is there any other recommended IC that can achieve the above function?
Hi everyone,
For a project involving the stimulation of live-cells we are in need of a LED driver with a very low output current ripple.
Other parameters such as power loss are not as important
Furthermore the IC schould support:
- Vin max >30V
- Iout max >1A (in total. the number of channels doesnt matter although less channels is preferred)
Thank you all for you support.
All the best!
Jordi
I am currently in search for a LED driver for one of our products.
Since the LEDs are used for stimulation of cells, it is crucial that the output current of the driver is a real adjustable constant current and not just a high frequency PWM signal even if the “flickering” is undetectable for the human eye.
Does Infineon offer products that provide a dimmable constant current output (some noise is of course tolerated)?
Best wishes,
Jordi
BCR401U parallel connection for increased current application works how? An extra I set Resistor?
Hello I am looking for a Ballast ICs for driving UV-C disinfection lamps. The ICB2FL03G appeared to be a great choice based on a number of integrated control and safety features, and is very cost effective. Although I am looking for something which can be driven from low voltage DC, such as 12V. The ICB2FL03G appears to be designed for AC-line applications with 90-270Vac input.
Would it be possible to use this IC and reconfigure the circuit to use a resonant oscillator and step up transformer? Similar ICs such as the LT1768 from linear technologies are designed to do this for CCFL applications. If so, are there any reference circuits or guidance on this?
If not, does Infineon have any other ICs which may be capable of this? Ideally capable of running from a single or multi-cell li-ion or li-poly battery.
