Hi Infineon team,
Greetings of the day.
I am Virali, working in Hardware Engineering Domain in Pathpartner Technologies Pvt Ltd Bengaluru, India.
This is to inform you that we are working on a new Project, which involves LED driver Circuitry for JCB Headlight. our Project function are Side marker, Low Beam, high Beam, Day Running Light, Position Light and Turn indictor. For that LED driver Operations we have chose below IC's:
1.TLD55012QVXUMA1 -Two channel Channel buck driver IC
2.TLD60981EPXUMA2-Multitopology single-channel DC-DC controller
3.TLD1125ELXUMA1-1 Channel High-Side Current Source
Please share EOL status, Quotation and Part lead time of above part.
Also you can suggest Higher Versions of LED Drivers for Automotive domain.
Regards,
Virali Chhag
We want to make a rechargeable street light. Its have two sections. Battery charger and DC to DC converter. When electric supply is present the LiFePO4 Battery will be charged. If electric supply is not available in evening or night time, the street light will be ON by battery backup and Its will be OFF in day time. We will be use a 4 volt 0.10 Amp solar chip to sense dusk and down. Street lights will be operate as per dusk down. Its have the following features-
1) Input Operating working voltage------85 V to 300 V AC ( 300v to 450 volt stand by mode).
2) Output Voltage----------------------Its have two types outputs-------------
(A) Driver Output Voltage-------- Suitable for the charging of 12.8V, 20 AH Lithium phosphate LiFePO4 Battery. Battery will be charged within 5 hours. Driver wattage is not less than 80 watt.
(B) Boost converter Output---------- 40 watt ( 36 Volt, 1.12 Amp) suitable to operate 40 watt 36 volt LED strings.
3) Cut Off and protections---------------- Low and high cut off requirements in both sections (Charger and DC to DC converter). All protections also needs whose requirements in LED Street Lights. Charger and DC to DC converter will be operate in CV CC mode. Max current limit of the charger will 5 amp and converter max current limit will 1.5 amp.
4) Dc to DC converter--------Suitable to operate by 12.8 volt LiFePO4 battery. It's "ON" only during the night period. To sense day or night we will use a 4 volt 0.1 Amp Solar Chip when the solar chip voltage is greater than 1 volt then the light is "OFF" and when the solar chip voltage is less than 1 volt the Light will be "ON".Tempreture sensor can use to protect the driver from over heat.
Please design the very compact and strong driver suitable for avobe all feature. If possible design by using microcontroller.
Thanking you

Show LessPlease also help to confirm whether it is normal for the power supply voltage to be forcibly pulled down, and what is the reason for the flicker?
At 9V, the PWM driver will see the LED flicker that can be recognized by human eyes. When testing the waveform with the oscilloscope, it is found that the power supply voltage is forcibly pulled down by a few tenths of a volt. When the voltage is adjusted to 10V or above, the flicker disappears, but the phenomenon of forcibly pulling down the power supply detected by the oscilloscope still exists.
This phenomenon is especially obvious when multiple devices supply power at the same time. The waveform of tail point is as follows. Please help analyze whether this phenomenon is normal and what causes it.
The following attempts and changes have been made
1. The current limit of power supply is adjusted from 5A to 10A without improvement;
2. Cancel D2 (equivalent to removing the diode 0.7V voltage drop), 9V will not flicker with the naked eye, but the waveform still exists. The capacitance of vs pin is connected in parallel with a 1uF capacitor on the basis of 0.1uF, the phenomenon is not improved, and the power supply voltage is also pulled down;
3. Test the voltage drop of LED. The voltage drop of each LED is 2.2V, and the total voltage drop of LED is about 6.6v
It is equivalent to that after D2 is removed and replaced with 0 Ω resistor, the power supply voltage will still be forcibly pulled down, as shown in the following waveform. Please also help to confirm whether it is normal for the power supply voltage to be forcibly pulled down, and what is the reason for the flicker?

Dear Infineon
Recently, I brought two set of eva board, refxdpl821035W & refxdpl8221, and try to communicate with them using dp. gen 2.0 interface. But both of them need to use different dp. version, i.e dpifgen2rev1-12-0 hex for xdpl 8210 & dpifgen2rev2-5*-0 hex for xdpl 8221. Is it correct?
Besides, I always got the error message ' Aparam out of batch' while change the setting of xdpl 8221
Any suggestion?
