We are sending inquiries regarding TLD6098-1EP IC PWM DUTY
We are trying to apply in Daytime Running Lamp, Position Lamp.
1) Is it possible to control the PWM duty cycle 5% in the IC to satisfy the LED minimum guaranteed current?
2) Due to low dimming control such as Analog Dimming (SET) PIN 30% control and PWM DUTY 5% control
Can output current error and flicker occur?

Hi,
Regarding the flickering, I assume you are talking about instability that could trigger the light flickering. Usually if the PWM frequency is higher than 50Hz then it is not visible.
- 5% is achievable if a PMOS is used as dimming element.
- The flickering depends on stability. If a proper compensation network is chosen, then there shouldnt be a problem.
Please check the TLD6098-12B_EVAL evaluation kit and check the stability with DC-DC designer tool
