Stop and tail multiplex LED lights. The LED fishing net structure meets n-1. The LED current is 55mA and the duty cycle is 8.3%. T1 is 12 LED lamps and T2 is 15 LED lamps.

Using LITIX ™ Basic + series, Is there a recommended combination scheme for basic + series products with the lowest cost? For example, two TLD2141-3EP?

Hi
Thank you for your clarification.

As per your requirement, you can use 4 devices of TLD2142-1EP.2 Devices will be used for panel T1. Each device of panel T1 will be able to drive 100 mA each. Similarly, 2 devices will be used for panel T2 which will be able to drive 125 mA each.

TLD2142-1EP can drive the current up to 240 mA. So, you could use 1 device but for better thermal management we prefer 2 devices for each panel, by taking into consideration the worst-case power dissipation at the maximum operating supply voltage.

The N-1 fault management between 2 devices can be implemented with the configuration of D-pin. For more information please refer to this knowledge-based article.

Hi
Thank you for posting on the Infineon community.

In order to understand your requirement. Could you please give some additional details about how do you want to connect these LEDs? Are you using different panels for the stop function and tail function?  What do these T1 and T2 signify?

If the total number of led driven is 18 with the current limit of 80 mA, then using two TLD2141EP would be an optimal solution.

Looking forward to your answer.

Best Regards

T1 and T2 are two panels, each panel should have stop function and tail function.

The connection mode is shown in the figure below.

@200mA and @ 250mA are the total current.
