There are two thresholds for the EN/DEN pin: output enable and diagnosis enable.
If the terminal voltage is 2V, the output enable (threshold 1.8V or less) reaches the threshold, but the diagnosis enable (threshold 2.4V or more) does not reach the threshold.
I think diagnosis does not work under those conditions, but current still be output from the OUT pin?

Hi @Mac_Komatsubara ,
Thanks for posting on the Infineon Developer Community.

The EN output enable threshold VEN(th) & DEN diagnosis enable threshold VDEN(th) are 1.65 volt & 2.5 volt respectively. The typical value of VDEN(th) signifies that 2.5 Volts of input voltage is required at the DEN pin to activate the diagnosis whereas the typical value of VEN(th) signifies that 1.65 Volts of input voltage is required at the EN pin to enable the output.

Yes,your observation is correct. The output will be activated and you can obtain the output as soon as the voltage at the input pin reaches the VEN threshold but the diagnosis of the device will not work if the VDEN thresthold is not reached.

I hope the information will be useful for you.

Please feel free to contact in case of any further clarifications.

Best Regards,
Kanahaiya
