What is the minimum pull-up resistor required at LITIX™ Basic+ ERRN pin?
The minimum pull-up resistor at ERRN pin depends on the maximum supply voltage of the application.
At the highest possible supply voltage, the resistor current limitation should be below the pull-down current IERRN(fault) [P_7.5.2] in order to ensure a safe deactivation of all LITIX™ Basic+ devices connected to the same ERRN network.
Therefore, the minimum resistance is determined by:
RERRN(min) = Vs(max) / IERRN(fault, min)
Note: it is recommended that a larger pull-up resistor is used, typically 20kOhm, in order to ensure a safe deactivation of the devices
