EN_DEEP_AD means enable deep adaptation. Enabling this deep adaptation feature leads to a lower granularity of the resulting precharge and and predischarge currents.
As is shown in Figure 25 in the datasheet, when EN_DEEP_AD = 1, the pre-charge phase is separated into two sections with two different current. This is called deep adaptation.
This feature can be enabled when a lower granularity of precharge and and predischarge currents is required. In this case, the precharge current is not a constant value, but with two values.
