For continuous SDR Read operations in S25HL/HS-T family, the upper nibble of mode bits is “A” and the lower nibble of mode bits is “x” (“don’t care”). The S25FL/FS-S family does not support continuous read mode for SDR Fast Read (0Ch). For continuous DDR Quad I/O Read operation, the mode bits must be “A5h” in the S25HL/HS-T, while the S25FL/FS-S family accepts other mode bit patterns where upper and lower nibbles are complementary; for example: 5Ah, F0h.
