Community Translation: TRAVEO™ T2G マイクロコントローラ: マイクロコントローラのライフサイクル ステージを確認する – KBA236158
Version: **

Use the SiliconID API to know the MCU lifecycle stage. However, this requires implementing a program to call the API.

Lifecycle stage and protection state are related. Therefore, check the current protection state to know the MCU lifecycle stage. The CPUSS_PROTECTION register shows the current protection state.

  • The PROTECTION state is VIRGIN when the MCU is in the RMA lifecycle stage.
  • The CPUSS_PROTECTION.STATE field is ‘1’; the MCU is in the RMA lifecycle stage.
  • The CPUSS_PROTECTION.STATE field is ‘2’; the MCU is in the NORMAL_PROVISIONED lifecycle stage.
  • The CPUSS_PROTECTION.STATE field is ‘3’; the MCU is in the SECURE or SECURE_WITH_DEBUG lifecycle stage.

Contact Infineon support for these documents. See the architecture technical reference manual (TRM) for SiliconID API and registers TRM for the CPUSS_PROTECTION register.

Note:  This KBA applies to the following series of TRAVEO™ T2G MCUs:

  • TRAVEO™ T2G CYT2xx series
  • TRAVEO™ T2G CYT3xx series
  • TRAVEO™ T2G CYT4xx series
