TRAVEO™ MCU: Difference between TRAVEO™ T1G and TRAVEO™ T2G MCU - KBA236082
Community Translation: TRAVEO™ MCU: TRAVEO™ T1G MCUとTRAVEO™ T2G MCUの違い - KBA236082
TRAVEO™ T1G family has a single Arm® Cortex®-R5 processor, while TRAVEO™ T2G family is a dual-CPU with Arm® Cortex®-M4 or M7 and Arm® Cortex® M0+ processors.
In TRAVEO™ T2G, two CPUs are configured as the CPU subsystem; Arm® Cortex®-M4 or Arm® Cortex®-M7 processor is the main CPU and Arm® Cortex®-M0+ processor is the secondary CPU that can implement security, safety, and protection features.
Note: As the CPU core changes, MCU features change according to the core specification. For more details, see AN218629 - Comparison of TRAVEO™ T1G and TRAVEO™ T2G.
Note: This KBA applies to the following series of TRAVEO™ MCUs:
- TRAVEO™ T1G
- TRAVEO™ T2G CYT2xx series
- TRAVEO™ T2G CYT3xx series
- TRAVEO™ T2G CYT4xx series
