Question: When creating a new project or opening an existing project, I’m getting the Runtime Error message: "Object doesn't support this property or method". When closing the PSoC Designer, I’m getting the following error "g_SVGRoot.currentTranslate' is null or not an object". What can be the reason ?
Answer:
When creating a new project or opening an existing project, I’m getting the Runtime Error message:
When opening the chip level view in the ProjectName[chip] tab, I’m getting the following error.
When closing the PSoC Designer, I’m getting the following error.
The above errors occur if the SVGviewer is not present on the system. Either the SVG viewer installation on the user's machine is corrupted or SVG viewer removed. Uninstalling SVGViewer if it is already present and installing it again will resolve these errors. The SVGviewer installer that Designer uses to install SVG Viewer 3.0. 3.0 is attached with this article.
