Community Translation: CY8CKIT-062S2-43012キットでCYW43012をBluetooth®スタンドアロンモードで動作させる - KBA235515

Version: **

In the PSoC™ 62S2 Wi-Fi Bluetooth® Pioneer Kit (CY8CKIT-062S2-43012), the onboard KitProg3 (PSoC™ 5 LP) has a secondary UART connection to the BT_UART of CYW43012 (Murata Type 1LV).

Therefore, it is possible to make the CYW43012 module work in standalone mode (embedded mode or controller only mode with an external host), using the following steps:

  1. Program the PSoC™ 6 such that it turns on the CYW43012 Bluetooth® core (BT_REG_ON = 1) and tristates the HCI UART lines from PSoC™ 6 to CYW43012 (so that KitProg3 can communicate to CYW43012 over the HCI UART lines). Reset CY8CKIT-062S2-43012 after programming.
  2. Check if the CY8CKIT-062S2-43012 kit enumerates with two COM ports; if not, press and hold the MODE SELECT switch (SW3) on the kit for five seconds and release. Now, you should see two COMs ports (one for PSoC™ 6 and another for CYW43012 HCI UART)
  3. Now you can either run the module in embedded mode or controller mode using the HCI UART lines directly.
