Question
How to detect WUP on AURIX Triboard
Answer
Wake-up pattern(WUP) detection
To reduce current consumption, AURIX can be set to low power mode or leave SCR standby and the transceiver TLE9251xx both in stand-by mode.
In stand-by mode, TLE9251xx monitors the CAN bus, once it detects a wake-up pattern(WUP), it will indicate the wake-up signal on the RxD output pin.
Specially, in stand-by mode, the Vcc of TLE9251xx can be turned off.
Here there are tfilter<1.8us and tWAKE<10ms, the WUP must contain a dominant signal of pulse width tFilter, followed by a recessive signal tFilter + another dominant signal tFilter.
After tWAKE expires, TLE9251xx resets detection. If last dominant and recessive longer than tFilter, then WUP valid, RxD output 'low".
Attached is a chart diagram for WUP detection of TLE9251xx
