In HYPERBUS™ protocol, data is always transferred as 16-bit word values.

When accessing the memory space, if the data is stored (written) in either little-endian or big-endian order., it will be read back in the same order.

When accessing the register space, data is always read and written in big-endian order, i.e., Word[15:8] first, then Word[7:0], because the registers have a device dependent fixed bit location and meaning definitions.
