Question: What is the difference between count & clock pins of PSoC 3/5 Counter component?
Answer:
The UDB based Counter component looks like this:
The signal which has to be counted has to be connected to "count" pin whereas the "clock" pin is to run the Datapath of the UDB. In other words, the input signal "count" is sampled by the "clock" input. So the "clock" input frequency has to be atleast twice that of "count" input signal so that it can be counted properly.
