OptiMOS™ 6 technology was developed to mainly address high switching frequency applications. The main improvements compared to OptiMOS™ 5 are related to Figure of merits Qg and Qgd which allow lower switching losses. With the new portfolio it is possible to achieve higher efficiency enabling power density and system cost improvement.
