Question: What is the optimum configuration for connecting the HOTLink Transmitter/Receiver power and ground pins?
Answer: All power pins are required to be shorted together, and all ground pins are required to be shorted together. While these enter the die on different pins, they are all shorted together ON THE DIE. If there is even a slight power offset between the quiet and noisy supplies, the bond wires will be turned into fuses.
