In TLE9371VSJ, definition methods of the DS specifications are changed from ISO11898-2;2016 base to CiA601-4 base.

Therefore, in case of comparison w/ existing CAN transceivers, the specified parameters related to the CAN characteristics are changed.

Originally, bit symmetry and bit width don’t depend on the bit rate (communication speed), but on device characteristics. So in CiA601-4, unlike the conventional ISO 11898-2;2016, they have been specified from the device point of view.  This idea is also adopted by CAN-XL. This specification was to support the complete bit range.

How to think the characteristics of tBIT(Bus) and tBIT(RxD) in TLE9371VSJ(2Mbps case)

In this case, 1bit=500ns, ΔtBit(Bus) = -10ns ~ +10ns and ΔtRec = -20ns ~ +15ns, so,

tBIT(Bus) = 490ns ~ 510ns

tBIT(RxD) = 480ns~515ns
