The letters U, SV, E, and SE represent the access mode of the register as follows:

Letters

Description

U

Access permitted in User mode 0 or 1 (applicable to write and read).

SV

Access permitted in Supervisor mode (applicable to write and read).

E

ENDINIT protected write. “E” means a write access is only allowed when ENDINIT is inactive (for a short time window) after a correct ENDINIT password unlock sequence as described in the SCU chapter.

SE

Safety ENDINIT protected write. “SE” means a write access is only allowed when safety ENDINIT is inactive (for a short time window) after a correct Safety ENDINIT password unlock sequence as described in the SCU chapter.
