Question: Is it possible to power the ADC module (VDDM) with 5 V and then use different voltage references for the VADC and the DSADC (e.g. VAREF2 to 5 V and VAREF1 to 2.5 V respectively) modules?
Answer:
It is possible to have different voltage references for the delta-sigma and the successive approximations for analog-to-digital converters. Ensure to connect all the grounds, analog and digital (VSSM, VAGND1, VAGND2 and GND) to the same ground plane.
Note: This KBA applies to the following series of AURIX™ MCUs:
- AURIX™ TC2xx series
- AURIX™ TC3xx series
