AURIX™ MCU: NMI port usage – KBA234857
Community Translation: AURIX™MCU：NMIポートの使用法 - KBA234857
Question: Which are the NMI (non maskable interrupt) ports that can be used, apart from ESR1 on AURIX™? Can NMI be triggered on active high?
Answer: ESR0 (External Service Requests 0) can be used as NMI when ESR0 is pulled up during PORST. If an error signal drives ESR0 low during PORST, then AURIX™ will never boot up.
If the error signal on ESR0 is not active low before AURIX™ powers up, then it is possible to use ESR0 as NMI.
The intended signal for NMI is ESR1. ESR0 is intended as a reset output.
