Community Translation: AURIX™MCU:NMIポートの使用法 - KBA234857

Version: **

Question: Which are the NMI (non maskable interrupt) ports that can be used, apart from ESR1 on AURIX? Can NMI be triggered on active high?

Answer: ESR0 (External Service Requests 0) can be used as NMI when ESR0 is pulled up during PORST. If an error signal drives ESR0 low during PORST, then AURIX will never boot up.

If the error signal on ESR0 is not active low before AURIX powers up, then it is possible to use ESR0 as NMI.

The intended signal for NMI is ESR1. ESR0 is intended as a reset output.

For more details, please see the “External Reset Sources and Indications” section of the User’s manual.

Note: This KBA applies to the following series of AURIX™ MCUs:

  • AURIX™ TC2xx series
  • AURIX™ TC3xx series
