The Auto-discover compiler include paths option enables or disables the scanning of all project folders that detect the include paths needed by the project to compile.
The scanning process occurs every time when a project is built using the Build Active Project or Rebuild Active Project functions as shown in the following figure.
To access this option, right-click an existing project from the C/C++ Projects view and select Properties. Go to AURIX Development Studio > Build. Enable the Auto-discover compiler include paths checkbox by marking it and click Apply and Close as shown in the following figure.
Note: When this function is active it is not possible to manually configure the project include paths anymore.
To add or remove a folder from the compiler include paths when the Auto-discover compiler include paths is disabled, right-click the folder and select C/C++ Compiler Includes > Add Folder as shown in the following figure.
