For all AURIX™ devices, by default the On-Chip Debug System (OCDS) is disabled. To enable the OCDS module, the debug tools use a predefined pattern. You can secure the debug connection (DAP, DXCPL, and JTAG) by using a 256-bit password, which is evaluated during the startup software. If the password is incorrect, access to the tool is denied. For additional levels of security, use the Hardware Security Module (HSM).
