When triggering a Versatile Analog-to-Digital Converter (VADC) and Enhanced Versatile Analog-to-Digital Converter (EVADC) from a Generic Timer Module (GTM), it is common to use triggers (edges) as opposed to gating (levels). The VADC sees the signal level of the GTM. So, if the signal level changes from low to high, this is associated with a rising edge trigger and vice-versa for a falling edge. To determine where the ADC is triggered, it is essential to account for the GTM signal level ((A)TOMi_CHx_CTRL.SL). The VADC-specific (A)TOM channel is often not routed externally but internally only. It must be accounted for and verified edge placement of rising and falling edges.
