You can use conversions by software. For instance, to verify an ADC configuration without a proper hardware trigger. This helps to find the root source of ADC conversion issues while debugging. In case of AURIX™ TC2xx, for Scan and Background Scan, each request source has a LDEV (GxASMR.LDEV=1 and BRSMR.LDEV=1) bit that can load the ADC request source. For queues, there is a TREV field (GxQMRy.TREV=1) that is used to load this type of request source.
