AURIX™ MCU: Automotive level parameter configuration? – KBA234421
Version: **
Question: In the iLLD and MCAL software code, GPIOs have an “automotive level” parameter configuration. Where to find the description in the user manual?
Answer:
The Automotive level or AL is a standard CMOS level with extended low-level range. The official AL voltage levels can be found in the device datasheet. Main motivation to use extended low-level range is the robustness for ground bouncing and noise in harsh automotive environments.
See the “General purpose I/O ports and Peripheral I/O lines (ports)” section of user’s manual.
Note: This KBA applies to the following series of AURIX™ MCUs:
- AURIX™ TC2xx series
- AURIX™ TC3xx series
