In the datasheet for the TLF11251LD. The recommendation for the LSCON pin is to pull it down by using 6.2k resistor with 20% tolerance. I am integratinf with

The document I am referring is: "OPTIREG™ PMIC TLF11251LD 2.5 A half bridge with integrated driver and level shifter"

My questions are as follows:

1. Does it have to be 6.2k? Can we use 10k resistor?

2. If we use 6.2k resistor why should have such high tolerance? Cant we use resistor with lower tolerance values?

Best regards

Hello Darkrai,

You can choose the resistor between 6.2k*80% and 6.2k*120%,  and the value will be ok.

Kieran

Hello Darkrai,

The recommend value is 6.2k +-20%,so don't change it in case the variation happens.

Usually, the recommend value is calculated and checked by the engineers.

You can change the value of resistor between 6.2k+-20%.

Best regards,
Kieran

Thanks for the reply.

So the 6.2k +- 20% is the value for the resistor and not the tolerance. Is my understanding correct?
