I think that the waveform under the IC (SC) conditions described in the data sheet of IKD08N65ET6 is as follows.

Hi,

Thank you for posting at Infineon community.

Yes the nature of short circuit current and voltage waveform is same. But, sometimes, the Vge waveform may not look exactly the same as shown in the figure.
