Dear Infineon,

We want  to use SGB07N120 at linear area as high voltage linear drop output. Of course, the output current of high voltage LDO is very low, e.g. 5mA.  Do you think SGB07N120  can work as linear area. If yes, do you have FBSOA of  SGB07N120  ?

BRs,

Xiangdong

Hello Xiangdong,

It is not recommended (and no support) to use Infineon's IGBTs in linear mode, i.e. this applies for all Infineon's IGBT technologies.

In any case, SGB07N120 is a discontinued device.

Thank you

Jorge

Dear Jorge,

Thank you for your comments.

BTW,  the figure which is mentioned in SGB07N120 datasheet is RBSOA  or FBSOA?
