关于TO247PLUS应用手册中所说明的”with the red circles “2”. TO-247PLUS 3pin still features these clamping areas, but these are placed at the upper corners. This change increases the clearance and creepage distances between said clamping areas, which lie at the collector potential, to the eventual metal clip used for fixing, that is usually at the heatsink potential.”

但我不明白TO247PLUS当中对于clearance 以及creepage是如何算表现??

另外我也看了参考AN2012-10 Electrical safety and isolation in high voltage discrete component - applications and design hints手册

了解TO247在红圈的裸框架开槽的clearance 以及creepage是计算螺丝孔与散热件的距离.

电气间隙是最短的空间距离,基本是您所标注的距离。爬电距离是沿着表面的最短距离,一般夹子和封装的接触点在封装的中心点,爬电距离是红圈2到中心点沿表面的距离。开槽的目的在文档中有说明“necessary for a correct mould compound deposition”

screw clip方式的爬电距离分析与上面类似,电气间隙有所不同,但还是到夹子的最短空间距离。

如上所述clearance和creepage的增加通过改变clamping area的位置和大小实现,和散热无关。247PLUS封装的热性能的改善在文档里1.3、1.4有介绍。

TO247PLUS使用夹子固定,请参考以下文档第22页的fig 4.12。clearance 以及creepage是计算红圈2到夹子的距离

1. 感谢回复, 按照您的说法参考文档第22页的fig 4.12, clearance 以及creepage 应该距离都是一样的对吗? 那这个红圈处(2)开槽用意到底是什么?

2. 另外我还靠到另外的应用手册, 使用的是screw clip的方式, 这样的应用方式应该红圈处(2)开槽, 是否有帮忙提供到clearance 以及creepage的增加?
