I am trying to implement digital filter for power factor correction (PFC) for onboard charger. A filter needs to be implemented in the code after sampling ADC samples for AC input voltage and current. Which software tool (open source ) I should use , what design steps i should take to design digital filter. I am using XMC1302-T038x0200 development board for PFC.

Hi Rakesh,
If you are looking for digital filter implementations, you can check out
https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/promopages/aim-mc/dave_downloads.html
The examples like BUCK_PCC_DIGITAL_POWER_EXPLORER_XMC13 which uses peak current control mode. You may refer that for your exact application.

Hi,
Thank you for posting on the Infineon Community.
I see that you are using XMC uC for designing your PFC circuit.
I suggest you to go through the following Application note from the evaluation board EVAL_3KW_DB_PFC_C7,
This AN has detailed explanation on how to carry out your requirement.
Regards,
