I am testing the 1ED3123MC12H driver IC with IGBT  IKW15N120BH6  using Buck converter circuit. Vdc=30V, 0.6mH and Fsw=10 kHz. But the ringing is creating a problem. Any suggestions pl

Hello Raja22028,

Thank you for posting on Infineon Community.

We understand that you are experiencing heavy ringing in your driver/IGBT setup.

Could you let us know if this ringing is produced while the gate signal is ON, or when the signal turns OFF?

As this is a buck topology, the switching node (emitter of IGBT) will fluctuate from 30V to around 0V.
This fluctuation could be the reason for the ringing.

Could you try:
-Disconnecting the GND of the +15/-8 DC/DC converters.
-Connecting the GND of the +15/-8 DC/DC converters to the switching node (emitter of IGBT).

Best regards,
Pablo
