In the datasheet, the minum value of Dead time is 1.5uS. Is it enough to set 1.8uS with 20% margin or longer? Is there any formula to calculate the IGBT and diode loss with different dead-time setting? Thanks!

Hi Felix, there are two deadtimes in datasheet:

380ns DTIC is  provided by driver IC when deadtime between HIN and LIN is less than 380ns, meaning cross conduction is avoided even a short deadtime is set by users.

1.5ns is the recommended minimum deadtime between HIN and LIN. 

1.5us /(1-20%)=1.875ns , I would suggest you can increase deadtime to 1.9ns if the margin is +/-20%. deadtime setting has nothing with power losses.

The dead time should be longer than 1.5 us, which can be found in datesheet.  2us  should be the right choice. The deadtime will influence the bus voltage using rate.
