Hi Max,
For drive applications it is important that du/dt is in the range of 2kV/us-8kV/us (depending on the rated motor voltage), higher values can endanger coil insulation and bearings.
Typically for <460V motor rated voltage the maximum of 5 kV/µs for the inverter output voltage is required.
To chose the right Rg value for IGBT7 based module please use the graph from the datasheet. This diagram enables an easy choice of Rg to match the right gate resistor for specified dv/dt.
