1,When using 6ED2742S01Q, if the current detection and overcurrent protection function is not used, how to handle the related component pins?
2,Help to check the design problems in the following schematic diagram:
Does the 2EDL05N06PF chip include overcurrent protection, overload protection, overvoltage protection, and undervoltage protection? Does it contain the above four functions?Show Less
Hello, I hope you are fine. I am using 2ED300C17-S driver . I have a problem about the Rssd in this configuration. As we know, this resistor is related to soft shot down of the switch and there is an equation to obtain the value of this resistor in data sheet. For my specific SiC module this equation is a negative value and now I don't know this resistor should be zero(short circuit) or infinite(open circuit).
Furthermore , It is important to note that when i assumed the resistor is zero, there is a huge input current of the power supply of the driver(more than 3A ) .

I have an application where I have to design a configurable high/low side driver. The limitations I have are the availability of chips and 3.3V only onboard voltage. I need to achieve upto 2KHz PWM output. Are you please able to confirm what is maximum and minimum duty cycle I will be able to achieve with this circuit.Also please ignore the Vs and Vss pin of IR2110STRPBF, I have already fixed it.
I would like to developp a BLDC ESC for my application (20kW Motor / 120V 200A), and I'm not sure what evaluation board would fit to my needs.
I would like to use sensorless FOC method to spin the motor.
Does someone could advice me the best combo ? (Control Board + Power Board)
After evaluation, I plan to do the schematics of my own pcb.
Is there any way to increase the discharge current to decrease the circuit dead-time? This IC is almost perfect for our application but high 3rd quadrant device losses are hold us back. Otherwise, we will require use an additional IC to detect soft-switching and initiate the next switching state. The frequency range of the IC is excellent but 350 ns fixed dead-time is simply too much at high frequency.
