I need to replace this component IR2153PBF for the other like to like, could recommendation other.
This component is not recommendation for new design
Show LessDear all, I am using one of Infineon's Power MOSFET with TOLT package ( IAUS300N10S5N015T ). Since the MOSFETs will be placed at the bottom-most layer of the PCB (6 layered PCB) I was thinking about, whether I can utilize the top space by placing the gate driver just above the MOSFETs. However, I am confused since the bottom-most layer will be carrying very large currents ( 300A along with bus bar with 5KHz switching frequency), will it cause any adverse effect on Gate driver functioning.
Show LessHi,
can the EVAL-M1-IR2214 work by DC100V direct power supply on Test Ports of DC+ and PGND ?
If any concern, please let me know.

Show LessI am using two 1ED44173N01B driver ICs, each driving their own MOSFET. Both driver ICs are being triggered at the same time and so the MOSFETs are both switched on at the same time. Would it be ok to connect the output pins of the two driver ICs together? The goal would be to ensure the MOSFETs start concurrently as well as to provide a single test point on my small PCB. Thanks!
Show LessI have also design the IGBT driver using 2ED020I12-F2
Please confirm below points
- While implementing external booster the collector of PNP transistor should be connected VEE but as per attached document it is connected to GND(refer Fig 1). Please clarify the same.
- As we are providing VEE supply, clamp pin not connected so is it ok?
Hi, I have some questios about the gate driver '1ED3890MU12M', the product link is: https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/power/gate-driver-ics/1ed3890mu12m/
After reading the datasheet and manual, I still have two questions about the I2C.
(1) Our control board doesn't have extra I2C interface. Can this chip work without I2C bus? I noticed that these configurable parameters have default values, is it possible to just use it as a normal gate driver chip and skip the configuration process?
(2) After power loss of input side and output side(i.e., power off the whole circuit), will these configured parameters kept in the chip when I power it again? My idea is to configure parameters with another controller, and I assume these parameters can be kept in this gate driver chip forever.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.

Show Lessthe datasheet for the TLE9210X shows a max operating supply voltage of 28V, but when I exceed 20V DC I get a a VSOV and CPUV bit set in GENSTAT and SUPE bit set in the GSB, if I drop below 20V the unit restarts normally, any ideas what could cause this behavior?

Show LessIn 16~60V motor drive applications,When we use 6ED2742S01Q as the gate driver chip,If we use the external 15V DC power supply directly as the VCC drive power supply , how to deal with the VIN, BJT_DR and VREG pins of 6ED2742S01Q? Should they all be connected to the VCC, or should they all be suspended?
The following is a partial DATASHEET screenshot ,but there are two different ways.
In addition, is it appropriate to suspend CP1 and CP2 pins in this application?

“For high-frequency noise, is a capacitor recommended or to be avoided across the DTC, deadtime control resistor external to the IC. The Infineon application notes don't include a capacitor here, we are looking for your opinion."
