Hello,
1ED020I12-F2 has two GNDs.My question regarding separating GND1 and GND2. Can I connect GND1 to GND2 through some other components on the die of the1ED020I12-F2(in PCB)?
If yes, Can I use thermal vias that are connected to the GND plane in the bottom layer?
Finally, the application note recommended using 4 layers of PCB, can I use it in 2 layers?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Leila

Hi Community.
I am in the process of designing a SMPS for Audio Application, and i would like to make a synchronous rectifier for the dual output rails required for the audio application, since these will reduce the loss in output section of the SMPS.
The SMPS is based on TL494 PWM of which its output is spread through 3pcs #2EDS8265H. Two of the 2EDS`s for the synchronous recifiers, and one which drivers the primary mosfets
I am quite unsure about the synchronous recfitication, if someone would care to take a look at the attached schematic of this section and comment on it would be really appreciated.
Greetings,
Stian
I have designed a buck-boost circuit with 200kHz PWM, and use the 1ED3122MX12H to drive the IMW120R060M1H. How to choose the dead time of the PWM.Is 100ns suitable?

After reading some experience post in the community, I learned that more technical information of this chip needs Infineon's FAE to authorize MYICP's account, but I didn't receive any reply after I sent an inquiry email to the official mail on 09-07. The company's address is Yubei District, Chongqing. How can I further contact Infineon's relevant agent or FAE?

Show LessKindly ask whether it's feasible to link the DT pin of the left half-driver with that of the right half-driver, and subsequently connect both to the potentiometer as illustrated in the image, aiming to regulate the dead time of both in such a way that they are equal.
Show LessDear Infineon engineer.
The operation manual for the AUIR3241S model downloaded from the official website instructs to manually set two parameters named 'TAMB' and 'TECH_VAR'.
However, it did not provide information on where to modify them in OrCAD Capture CIS or Pspice.
I attempted to modify them at location 'Edit Property', but I couldn't find the corresponding parameters. The circuit schematic and error message are shown below.
Your help with this matter is invaluable to me, and I thank you in advance.

Show LessHello, i'm trying to drive a linear piezo actuator (PI P-820.30) with two Mosfets (IRFB4115) but it doesn't work. Only the lower Mosfet Q2 switches, and i can only shoot with 10V. What might be the problem?
Note: When a voltage is applied to the piezo, it changes its length and elongates. It is acting so fast that a metal ball can be shot away with a pendulum. When the voltage is removed, the piezo contracts again.
In this picture you see only the Mosfets without the gatedriver, the signals come from a Raspberry Pico to the IR2110 which drives the Mosfets.
Here is a more detailed picture:
My Arduino code:
const int hinPin = 13; // Digital pin for HIN (Higher) MOSFET gate
const int linPin = 14; // Digital pin for LIN (Lower) MOSFET gate
const int freq = 1; // Frequency in Hz (1Hz)
#define DELAYTIME1 20 //in ms
#define DELAYTIME2 3000
void setup() {
pinMode(hinPin, OUTPUT);
pinMode(linPin, OUTPUT);
digitalWrite(linPin, LOW); //charge bootstrap capacitor}
void loop() {
// Turn on higher side MOSFET (Q1)
digitalWrite(hinPin, HIGH);
delay(DELAYTIME1); //
// Turn off higher side MOSFET (Q1)
digitalWrite(hinPin, LOW);
delay(DELAYTIME2); //
// Turn on lower side MOSFET (Q2)
digitalWrite(linPin, HIGH);
delay(DELAYTIME1); //
// Turn off lower side MOSFET (Q2)
digitalWrite(linPin, LOW);
}
I should note that the circuit did work as intended with some code before but i did not save the code, i already replaced the high side mosfet Q1 because it was defective, i couldn't get it working no more.
THANK YOU A LOT, nice team from Infineon.
