Hi,

can the EVAL-M1-IR2214 work by DC100V direct power supply on Test Ports of DC+ and PGND ?

If any concern, please let me know.

Best Regards,

Hello Hayashi-san,

Thank you for posting on Infineon Community.

The usage of DC+ and PGND is reserved for the double pulse or similar tests.
If using 100V DC for this purpose, the EVAL-M1-IR2214's auxiliary supply may enter brownout mode:

(From the ICE5QSAG datasheet)

100V*(62k/8862k) = 0.69V

To avoid this, just for the DC100V test, you could double the resistance of R28 shown below:

In addition, please use the MCEWizard tool and decrease the "DC Bus Under-Voltage Level" value to lower than 100V.

If the above measures are too difficult, you could use 150V instead of 100V, and the board will work with no issues.

Best regards,
Pablo
