Hi,
in the datasheet of the TLE92108 (https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-TLE92108-232QX-DataSheet-v01_00-EN.pdf?fileId=5546d462749a7c2...) a resistor R_{SHGND} between SHx and GND with 20k (typ) is mentioned (page 64).
Is the resistor part of the diagnostic functionality? Or is it in parallel to I_{PDDIAG}? Can the resistor be switched off?
I could not find more detailed info about this in the datasheet nor in the AppNote "Off-state diagnostics with TLE92108/4" (https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-Off-state-diagnostics-with-TLE9210x-ApplicationNotes-v01_00-E...).
Regards

Hi,
Thanks for your patience.
This resistor works not for diagnose. It's connected between GHx and GND through a diode to SHx. As a consequence, the voltage at SHx can rise up to 0.6V typ, before it is discharged through the resistor.

Hi,
Thanks for posting on Community. There are not many detailed information about this resistor as you said.
I'm discussing with our engineer about the function of this resistor. I'll inform you when I get conclusion.
Thanks,
Xiangrui
