I want to use 2EDN7434FXTMA1 gate driver for my BMS application.
My gate current is 60A for which I have selected suitable MOSFET but I gate driver IC to turn on/off this MOSFETs.
I want to know if I Can use this gate driver for my application?
I just got confused with the number output current 5A. This output source current is referring to gate current of MOSFET and not the Drain (load) current.
Please correct me if my understanding is wrong?
Thanks in advance

The 5A is not the current which flows through transistors. It is for charging/discharging CGE/CGC (or CGS/CGD) to turn transistors on/off.
The current path is illustrated in the document.
