Is it possible to use the Active Clamp Function together with an external NPN/PNP Booster at voltage Level of +15/-8V?
How exactly has it to be designed? We do not understand Chapter 2.5 in the 1ED Family Description

Yes, It is possible to implement the Active Clamping feature with an external booster. The Active miller
clamming is used while the Gate is having unipolar voltage. since you have Bipolar voltage the Active
clamping is not necessary, still if you want to use Active miller clamping you can use it. But you will get active
miller operation in the voltage range of 2V which is -6V to -8V accordingly you need to the calculation. You can
see the voltage 2V reference in the Active miller clamping pin below the picture.
