In the case of a half-bridge, the voltage charging of the capacitor is performed in the process of turning on the low-side power device. I don't know the customer's specifications, but if the high-side capacitor falls below the threshold value of the high-side gate, the high-side power device will be turned off and the discharge will be stopped. If the power device is an IGBT, the discharge should generally stop before it reaches 1V.
