 I need to design a isolated buck converter with input voltage is 950V, output voltage is 28V, output current is 250A.

Please suggest me the topology and approximate efficiency we can achieve.

Which is the best is always a matter of trade offs against requirements. 

 

Losses mostly depends on your application conditions like switches used, operating frequency, output power and colling system etc..

 

Kindly refer to the attached document which gives more insights into comparative analysis of DAB and CLLC topologies.

 

According to your application input data please do simulation in IPOSIM, which require less efforts.

Good day!!

 

I request you to please use the Infineon online simulation tool called IPOSIM, here we are offering two isolated converter topologies.

Dual Active Bridge (Single Phase)
CLLC (Single Phase)
 
Please check these two topologies and let me know your feedback.
