Hi all,
I'm investigating Diode Bare Dies.
Now I understand that there are Emitter Controlled 3 and Emitter Controlled 4 in the chip generation.
Then, I have a question.
Could you please tell me the difference between them?
Also, if you have any documents, would you please disclose them?
Best regards,
MS

Hello @MS_19060803
Thanks for posting your question in the Infineon community
Emitter Controlled 4 is the old generation of diodes my be 10 years back and now the Emitter Controlled(EC) 3 is current generation may be two years back technology. EC 3 is soft switched device and losses are less compared to EC 4.
I just want to understand the below points.
Please let me know which device you are specifically looking for?
Package details of your Diode die? (actual manufacturing part number)
Please let me know exact details your product and application ?
Based on your answers for above mentioned question, we can you provide you the information.
Thanks
