Hi all,
i am using Dave4. Is there any example available that shows how to use the touch buttons on the Hexagon HMI board.
I am also interesting in using the voice input/output on the board. Is an example available for that?
Thanks

Hello,
I was installing Dave-3.1.10 on my laptop Windows 7 Profesional 64 Bit. Every time I try to run it pops up a window with following message "Failed to create the Java Virtual Machine".
Changing the -Xmx512m to -Xmx1024m in the DAVE-3.1.10.ini file from C:\DAVE-3.1.10\eclipse folder does not help.
I also have LPCXpresso and Dave 4 installed. Both of them are running OK so far. I have the problem only with Dave3.
Anybody encounter any similar problem?
Any idea what i can try to fix the problem?
Thanks,
Sorin Show Less

Hello
Does anyone know of a way to clear the "workspace history" which is presented in the drop down on launching DAVE - have several workspaces in there which no longer exist locally which I would like to remove. Is there an option within DAVE? Or does anyone know the file to which they are saved?
Cheers Show Less

Hello,
Is there a list of changes and bug fixes between the latest DAVE 3 and DAVE 4 releases? I did not see it.
The reason I ask is that JTAG debugging through the miniwiggler in DAVE 3 is nightmarish with bugs everywhere. I am contemplating upgrading but am worried that the BETA will be worse.
I could make a video of all the errors if this has not been addressed. I am cursing all the time between DAVE 3 and UDAS.
Thanks,

Hi,
I want to position-control a BLDC-Motor. I am using a quadrature encoder with 1024 Lines (4096 ticks) and Index-Pulse. To count the absolute position of the motor shaft, I checked the “Enable Position Counter Overflow Event” and programmed a Service Routine to count the number of revolutions. In the clockwise direction everything works fine. But in the other direction there is no Interrupt being triggered.
Is it possible to activate an “counter underflow event” of the Position Counter to trigger Interrupts in this direction as well?
There also is another problem: The index pulse of the encoder is only sometimes detected. What could be the problem? The index pulse width of the Faulhaber IE3-Encoder is 90°.

Sometimes you may not have the DAVE project but have .hex file only.
With SEGGER J-Link/J-Link Lite, you are able to use "loadbin" command to download binary file into the target. In this case, debugging is not possible.
Here is an example:
1) Convert .hex to .bin file
Go to: C:\Program Files\SEGGER\JLinkARM_V474 --> Run JFlashARM.exe --> Open "test.hex" data file --> Save as "test.bin" file under c:\temp
2) Download and run
Go to: C:\Program Files\SEGGER\JLinkARM_V474 --> Run JLink.exe. --> Type the following commands:
J-Link>device XMC4500-1024
J-Link>loadbin c:\temp\test.bin, 0x0C000000
J-Link>r

Hello,
I am testing this project example on xmc4400. It works. Next, I have increased endpoint size form 64 to 256 for IN and OUT endpoint (bulk transfer)
#define WINUSB_TXRX_EPSIZE 256
I download the code to hexagon board and after this change, I am running into "usage fault-divide by zero". Without even running any application on host.
I have exception handler in place but I cannot get any usefull information from stacked registers since PC=11 !?
Thank you for any suggestions
